Aftercare and Guidance

Thank you for taking the time to pause with us

Here are a few simple guidelines to follow after your sound bath or meditation, whether in-studio or online.

Most people feel calmer, clearer, or more grounded after a session. Sometimes, you may simply feel tired. Occasionally, you might feel a little more aware of your thoughts or emotions. This is normal.

When the nervous system slows down, it creates space. Things that were operating quietly in the background may become more noticeable for a time. This usually settles within a few hours.

During a Session

Sound and meditation work gently through attention and vibration. Just as we don’t enjoy the same music every day, certain tones or styles might feel more or less supportive at different times in life.

If you ever feel unsettled, simply adjust in whatever way feels natural - sit upright, open your eyes, or soften your focus. There is no right or wrong way to experience a session.

Listening to your body is part of the practice.

After Your Practice

To support your system afterwards:

  • Drink water

  • Eat something nourishing

  • Avoid rushing straight into screens or intense activity

  • Take a short walk if possible

  • Rest earlier if you feel tired

Even five quiet minutes before re-entering a busy day can make a difference.

A Gentle Note

Our sessions are designed to support relaxation and wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical or psychological care. If you are navigating significant trauma, acute anxiety or a medical condition, professional guidance alongside your practice may be helpful.
